Israel-Europe Relations

Israel-Europe Relations is a new initiative begun in 2004 under the supervision of Ambassador Freddy Eytan, a former Foreign Ministry senior advisor who served in Israel's embassies in Paris and in Brussels. He is a veteran analyst of European affairs, and also was Israel's first Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The project will focus on presenting Israel's case in the countries of Europe, initially by translating Jerusalem Center materials into French for audiences in France and the French-speaking localities of Belgium and Switzerland.

In addition, the project will seek to develope ties and avenues of cooperation throughout Europe with research foundations and other relevant institutions and groups.
