Internship Program
The Institute for Global Jewish Affairs, a program of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA), offers non-paid internship positions throughout the year. The JCPA, an independent institute for policy research, was established in 1976 by Professor Daniel Elazar and is now headed by Israel's former UN ambassador Dr. Dore Gold. The Jerusalem Center is a growing and evolving institution and intern research assistants are important to this development. Interns bring their own expertise and insight to the research, providing the center with a valuable resource. At the same time, the intern gains from the environment created at the JCPA.
The center as a rule needs responsible and academically competent individuals who will be positive representatives of the center during and after their time working for the JCPA.
Applicants to our internship program should have:
• Solid academic background
• Good research skills
• Ability to work well in a group setting
• Background in related subjects
• Computer skills
• Willingness to contribute at least 4 months, and 15-20 hours a week. (During summer: 2 months, and 30 hours a week)
Other advantageous skills:
- Strong language skills (English is a requirement, other languages, a plus)
- Writing and editing skills, excellent English grammar
- Excellent computer and technological skills
Applicants should send their resume and cover letter to phas1@jcpa.org
