The Institute for Contemporary Affairs was founded jointly with the Wechsler Family Foundation.
The ICA International Experts board consists of:
· Efraim Karsh is Professor and Head of the Mediterranean Studies Program at King's College London. He has held various academic posts at Harvard and Columbia universities, the Sorbonne, the London School of Economics, Helsinki University, the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London, the Kennan Institute for Advanced Russian Studies in Washington D.C., and the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies at Tel-Aviv University.
· Abraham Bell is a member of the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel, He has taught as a visiting professor at Fordham University Law School, and taught widely on legal aspects of the Arab-Israeli conflict at Harvard, Columbia, NYU, and the University of Chicago.
· Ariel Cohen is Senior Research Fellow in Russian and Eurasian Studies and International Energy Security in the Douglas and Sarah Allison Institute for Foreign Policy Studies at the Washington DC based Heritage Foundation.
· David Schenker is a senior fellow and Director of the Arab Politics program at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He is Former Director for Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and the Palestinian territories at the office of the secretary of Defense.
