Maj.-Gen. (res.) Amos Gilad

Maj.-Gen. (res.) Amos Gilad is Director of Policy and Political-Military Affairs at the Israel Ministry of Defense. Gen. Gilad has also served as the Defense Ministry's Coordinator for the Administered Territories, Director of the Research Division of the IDF's Intelligence Branch, and as the IDF Spokesman.

Today there is unprecedented military and intelligence cooperation between Hizbullah, Syria, and Iran. There is no "smuggling" of weapons from Iran through Syria to Lebanon, because it is not done in secret. Weapons of all kinds are being pushed toward Hizbullah, including tens of thousands of rockets.
 
About the Center
The Jerusalem Center was founded in 1976 by the late Prof. Daniel J. Elazar. It is currently led by Israel’s former UN ambassador Dr. Dore Gold.

The Center is a multidisciplinary, independent non-profit think tank for Israel policy research and education, bringing together the best minds in the political, strategic, diplomatic and legal arenas, in Israel and abroad.
