Hizbullah

Hizbullah emerged as a militia in 1982 and was officially founded in 1985. It is a Shia paramilitary and political organization based in Lebanon. Hizbullah is listed as a terrorist organization by the United States, Israel, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Australia. It is headed by Secretary General Nasrallah and holds seats in the Lebanese parliament.
